INTRODUCTION
The Seam Ripper helps to remove any stitches that have been sewn in the wrong place or by mistake. There are various sizes of seam rippers that are available: small to large, expensive to inexpensive, lightweight to heavy. A small size seam ripper is preferred for domestic usages. Larger or heavier seam rippers are perfect for removing heavy threads/ heavy stitches on upholstery materials. Sometimes, it is also used for Kaja work like a buttonhole opener.
SIMPLE MECHANISM
A sharp-pointed J-hook goes under each stitch, which has a small cutting blade at the base to cut through the thread.
TIPS
#1: Keep the cover on when not in use to protect the sharp blade & put it at back for comfortable work.
#2: Follow the Red ball guide to not damage the fabric.
