A PIECE OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE MEASURING TAPE
In general, the measuring tape which used by the Tailor is made out of flexible fiberglass material. Which is easy to bend on either side and also easy to wear around the neck while drafting and sewing. It is majorly helpful to take body measurements of the other person or rarely in taking self measurements.
As shown in the image above, it is printed on both sides with 2 different units - inches and centimeter, which are helpful for dressmaking and other related processes. This kind of tape should be replaced frequently because it has an expanding property in nature.
